For the fifth year running, the excellence of Made in Italy eyewear is on show in Moscow at the appointment that all sector operators and the international press cannot afford to miss. Against the evocative background of the Pushkin Museum (12/2 ulitsa Prechistenka) in the southwest area of the city center, hundreds of eyewear models for women, men, children and teenagers will be on show March 10. Elegant and sporty, sophisticated and glamorous, the choice is huge, but the constant common denominator is top quality materials and innovative experimentation in design. Also in 2008, Anfao, the Italian Optical Industry Association, proposes this important initiative which for Italian companies represents a frontline showcase on a Russian market that is very interesting for Made in Italy excellence. Eyewear is the real star of the event, as the increasing number of participating Italian companies are aware and have decided again this year to take part in the fashion show set up with the close and invaluable collaboration of Anfao and Ice, the Moscow-based Institute for Foreign Trade.
The show in Moscow is one of the many events that Anfao has always organized around the world to promote Italian eyewear, the real “treasure” of the Italian economy and the pride of I-Style. Parading the runway in Russia will be top quality and innovative eyewear for men and women, as well as baby and sports frames. Almost one hundred models for all tastes and with five trends: Glitter, for the sparkling look of a real star, Chic Safari, with the warm colors of the concrete jungle, Smoky Eyes, in black for super-elegant, minimalist chic men and women. If something more colorful is your preference, Chromotherapy is a rainbow look to really brighten your mood! And there’s eyewear for kids: Young Style has dreamy colors and adult shapes in an innocent mimicry of the grownups!
