With this objective, Transitions Optical announced new appointments in its Global Strategic Marketing structure. These changes confirm the company’s intention to pursue its growth and development objectives and to contribute to the spread of vision wellbeing throughout the world.
Cliona Curran, Global Supply Chain Director since 2005, is now Global Business Insights Director. Before taking on responsibility for the Global Supply Chain, Cliona held prestigious positions in the same sector in Ireland, where she later became Regional Manager for Europe and America. Before joining Transitions Optical, Cliona was with the Digital Equipment Corp and Bausch and Lomb. She has a degree in Economics and a Master in Economic Studies from the University of Dublin. Subsequently, she took a PhD in Economics at the University of Cork.
Denis Fisk, Global Education and Training Director, is now the new Director of Global Brand Marketing, a position that will allow him to develop, among other things, the “Activated by Transitions” sun lenses brand. After six months at the headquarters in New York City, Denis will return to his native Australia. He has a degree in financial subjects and is also an optician and ophthalmologist and before joining Transitions Optical he managed Australia’s most important chain of retail optical stores, OPSM Pty Ltd.
