Visibilia S.p.A. ended 2007 with very positive results: billings for calendar year 2007 were Euro 27.2 million, an increase of +26% on 2006. With group billings for calendar year 2007 at Euro 37.5 million, the figures were perfectly in line with the medium-term business plan that envisages Euro 50 million in 2010.
All the vision and sun collections produced and distributed by the company (Blumarine, Blugirl, Laura Biagiotti, Mandarina Duck, Jeckerson, Trussardi and Ungaro) continue to record excellent development results in Italy and abroad. At its first partnership year, Exploit by Jeckerson exceeded the ambitious sales targets set for the launch of the collection.
Despite a global falloff in consumption, the Italian market generated +43% compared to 2006. Strong growth also abroad, due mainly to East European markets where the increase was over 60%.
“These are not easy times, but our company’s sound growth opens up scenarios that will guarantee systematic and prompt commercial expansion”, stated Visibilia S.p.A. president Dan Emanuel Levi. “The labels we represent are competitive and the market continues to repay a development strategy that focuses especially on distribution quality and our customer service policy”.
Visibilia’s innovation now involves products, management and the approach to the Italian and international markets, and it is always alert to commercial concepts that will create must-have products. Like the first St. John collection. Produced by Visibilia, it will be distributed exclusively to the Californian company’s American boutiques, where it is eagerly awaited following the preview at Stateside fashion shows.
In the meantime, Visibilia is preparing to transfer to its new base, a prestigious location of over 5,000 square meters. With the inauguration scheduled for May 2008, it aims to continue with quality growth and achieve the established budgets.
“Our mission is one of constant improvement” Dan Levi concluded. “We are very pleased with the results and our credibility on the international market”.
