Nau!’s commitment to safeguard the environment has materialised in the new collection of recycled plastic sunglasses produced by recovering and reutilising normal, non biodegradable production discards, giving them a new shape and new life.
Pursuant to current European regulations on the theme of solar protection, these frames are mounted with UV protection lenses and belong to the category of recycled preconsumption plastic.
The latest Summer 2008 collection’s preview was presented at the Mido conference “Recycled Plastic for Eyewear” organised by Nau!, which was attended by Angelo Magri (journalist), Rossella Muroni (General Manager of Legambiente), Enrico Maria Chalchia (IPPR President) and Fabrizio Brogi (President of Nau!).
Casual wear and glamour models were paraded by boys and girls attired in garments made of biodegradable fabrics.
