Cecop: appointment of new Country Manager

Cecop opened 2009 with an important new addition: the arrival of the new Country Manager who will be responsible for the management of the Spanish group in Italy.
Enrico Ferrario recently ended a twenty-year career in Bausch & Lomb and is returning to Italy after many years spent abroad, where he gained wide experience in the sector, held frontline positions and personally contributed to achieving important commercial objectives in such places as Istanbul, Miami, Mexico City and, more recently, Madrid.
A recognized professional with considerable technical training, he was instrumental in the development of different kinds of projects linked to the start-up, management and development of new offices as well as their reorganization and consolidation.
In his position as Country Manager in Cecop, his aim will be to consolidate and direct the group’s presence and growth in Italy. Currently with 350 associated opticians, the Cecop group’s mid- and long-term aim is to considerably increase the number of its members and to this end it has strengthened its commercial network, which already covers most of the country.
The appointment of Ferrario and the reorganization of the team in Italy are just the first of many measures the group will adopt during the first few months of the new year to consolidate its presence and to maintain smooth commercial relations with the sector’s main players.
