Opening its doors at 663 Fifth Avenue, the Ermenegildo Zegna Global Store is the second in the world after Milan. Designed by Peter Marino, the space will be officially inaugurated March 11. The next step is Tokyo in 2009.
At the single-brand store of about 900 square meters on three floors, the spirit and history of the brand have been made even more incisive through the use of noble materials, natural colors, tangible sensations and the technological innovations deriving from Zegna’s fabric heritage and tradition.
This opening and the new offices recently acquired on Washington Street in the Meatpacking District (see also fashionmagazine.it, February 5) will be joined by eight outlets that the Zegna Group intends to open by 2010 on the American market, which represents 25% of its overall billings. |
