Alfred Dunhill, the British symbol of luxury apparel and accessories for men, was pleased to announce an agreement with Jude Law by which the actor will be the brand’s international testimonial (excluding North America) after successfully representing it in Asia for two years.
With the idea of a fashionable new British gentleman, Alfred Dunhill has added to the consolidation of its excellent reputation based on such qualities as style, innovation, value and wit. The Dunhill spirit is perfectly represented by Jude’s manly style and status as the icon of the modern male, in addition to his popularity and undisputed acting abilities.
As Jude himself commented, “Dunhill is a real luxury brand that has always had a consistent philosophy in which style and practicality, together with unquestionable quality, are the basis of modern living. I am enthusiastic about continuing my collaboration with this highly appreciated and popular British brand and to widen the bases of the work already carried out”.

The worldwide expansion of the happy relationship will begin with the Alfred Dunhill 2008 spring/summer advertising campaign for which Jude will wear the 2008 spring/summer men’s collection with articles in leather. The London Gliding Club outside London provided the setting for photographs by renowned photojournalist Greg Williams, who rose to fame for having immortalized life backstage during the Bond and Bourne movies.
The photographs show a British gentleman leaving the city Friday night to go to his country house where he cultivates his passion for flying. It is there that he finds peace of mind and adventure, without ostentation or stereotypes. |
