During the event held Friday, May 16 and Saturday, May 17 at Abano Terme, many showbiz celebrities took up canvas and brushes to create paintings that would be sold in support of Adricesta, the non-profit association involved with children hospitalized in the oncohematology and pediatric surgery wards.
The Safilo Group, which produces and distributes Carrera sun and vision eyewear, has always been involved in benefit initiatives and it also supported this important event. The final auction was held Saturday evening at the Magnolia Theater, which had a special Carrera setting for the occasion. The sophisticated Eighties design and refined colors of Carrera eyewear from the new Carrera Vintage collection added a fashionable touch to the numerous VIPs who attended the event.
The celebrities included showgirl Hoara Borselli and ballet dancer Simone Di Pasquale, Countess Patrizia De Black, former “Isola dei Famosi” castaway Manuel Casella, actress Barbara Bouchet, Carmen Russo with partner Enzo Paolo Turchi, and famous TV personalities such as Ela Weber, Lorena Bianchetti, Patrizia Pellegrino and many others.
